Gr2 TITANIUM ALLOY PIPE PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Titanium is an alloy that has a combination of properties such as high strength, toughness, stiffness, low density, excellent corrosion resistance at very low as well as high temperatures. In the operational manufacturing plant, the Titanium Gr2 alloy is used because of its good strength to weight ratio and can be easily maintained at high temperatures. Titanium is having good formidability, corrosion resistance, durability, workability, dimensional accuracy, and ductility. The pipes we manufacture are as per national and international standards.
Gr.2 is most widely used in chemical pressure vessels and seawater treatment applications.
Gr.2 exhibits superior corrosion resistance from high oxidation to low chloride environments. Continuous operation at 800°F and intermittent operation at 1000°F. Production process: Annealed at 1200-1450°F for 15 min to 2 h, air-cooled. Release pressure at 900-1100°F for 30 minutes. Titanium GR 1, 2, 3, and 4 cannot be strengthened by heat treatment.
